Where were you when we were losing our rights?

By admin | September 2, 2009

I have heard so much talk about how the government and the Obama administration are being unconstitutional. What? Where the hell have you been? Why on earth would you complain about this now?

Promoting the general welfare sure sounds like the path that the government is on for a change. I would much rather my tax dollars go to promote good health than to buy bombs. You see the problem with the constitution is that it is open to interpretation. Not to mention the fact that it is 200+ years old. Written before electric lights, telephone and a global economy. It was made to be a living document but it has not kept up with the times.

The constitution is a guideline of rules that were great 200+ years ago but it has a lot of catching up to do to match what the world is like these days. What part of the constitution are you saying that the government is actually breaking?

Where were you when GW was taking away peoples rights and how unconstitutional that was. Where were you when the government was taking away our privacy? Now you complain because the government wants to make sure that the health of the american citizen is covered? This is such a better way for our government to work compared to what has been. It scares me that you cannot see this and so many seem blind these days.

Lets make a healthy america… I would much rather the government focus on us being healthier than taking away more of our rights.
