Troops back in Afghanistan

I am against war but am happy to at least see our troops in the proper location for a change. There is evil in the world and I feel that the Taliban is one of the worst. Any society that condemns it’s women to a life of servitude and lower class should be abolished from the Earth. Any society that is afraid of it’s women should be bombed back to the middle ages where that philosophy belongs. It is the women of the world that help it keep it’s peace. When you have a bunch of nut job men that don’t allow a voice from their women you end up with a fight on your hands.
Who in their right mind would allow this type of practice to continue. I blame the people, regimes and religions for this type of behavior.
The worst part is that we almost single handedly put these bastards in power back when they were fighting the Russians. Because they were fighting the Russians (the enemy of our enemy is our friend took hold) we not only supported them but we gave them arms and training to fight them. How could we then have supported a government that treated it’s women in such a way? I guess it comes down to oil somewhere.
Saudi Arabia is almost as bad in the fact that they beat and stone their women. They keep them separated in almost every way from the men who are able to go and do whatever they want. How could we then and how can we now support such a bunch of assholes?
I’ve said it before and I will say it again religion brings out the whackos in every society and when those nut jobs take power the world loses a little bit of hope for a better future.
So, I hope that we take down the bastards in Afghanistan quickly and with little life loss. I also hope that we continue to prey on (hunt down, kill and abolish) these ass backwards nations. That is where we should be focusing our attentions and it is a cause worth fighting for.

When did The News become a place for people to preach their viewpoint?

So, when did the news become a place for people to preach their viewpoint on the story? Have you noticed that on any of the news channels there is not much objective criticism anymore? They are loaded with talk shows where the host who has an agenda can preach about how they feel about the story rather than report the story. They give slanted viewpoints and push their political agendas. When did this start?
There are very few places that I don’t see this in the US. One is ABC Nightly News. The story is shown and that is it. You might get a bit of emotion from ol Charley Gibson but he does an excellent job of just reporting. The other is when a news stories first comes out and nobody knows what is happening. Once the facts are out then you start hearing the opinions and there is no place in news for opinions. That is called entertainment.
News stations these days show you the story then try to tell you how it should make you feel. They are supposed to just tell you the story and then move to the next one. The only place I have found to get objective news is the BBC. You never hear them comment on how the story made them feel or how you should feel. They tell the story and then move on allowing you to come to your own conclusion.
Did this all start with Jerry Springer? A lot of these guys and gals on the so called news stations sure have about the same following. I’m not naming names but may in the future.

Pulling out of Iraq

Fantastic, I was never for the war with Iraq and I sure hope that the end results were worth the lives we spent but it is sure good to see Iraq getting back on it’s feet. A democratic government is in place but they also say the same for Iran. Only time will tell how this ends but I must say this.
“Thank you for all that you have done troops and I am more than honored to welcome you home. May your lives never be toiled with something so difficult again. You should be proud of the work you have done and the lives that we all know you have helped.”

What is up with the GOP and Sex Scandals?

I think it is all related to the fact that the GOP pushes abstinence before marriage. Then these poor people get married and think they are missing or did miss something.
Recently you have Senator John Ensign, R-Nevada, who was having sex with one of his staffers.
Second you have the lovely South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford who just comes to work when he is not getting any on the side. I think the best part about him was a statement he made saying something to the effect that he is still in love with the girl in Argentina and also trying to work on his marriage. Again at this I must scream WTF!!!!
Also if we look back we cannot forget the great and awesome Mark Foley who is gay which in this day and age is ok unless of course you are republican. Anyway, Mr. Foley liked to send out porn based e-mails to male staffers. I wonder is it ok for gays to have sex before they get married….. oh that is right they can’t get married if the GOP has their way because it is morally wrong.
The GOP has also given us…
Vitter which is the Louisiana Republican that liked escort services.
Former Idaho Sen. Larry Craig, a Republican who liked playing in the airport bathroom just a bit too much.
Now I know that the Liberals can be just as bad but they are not preaching from the holier than though attitude about moral righteousness. And yes, Clinton did get a blow job in the oval office. At least it wasn’t a gay unwanted advance, escort service or someone that he wanted to still love while he worked on his marriage.
That is my two cents. Personally I do not care where you poke your thingy as long as it does not effect the job I voted you into. Oh, that is right I don’t vote Republican because I always think of them like they are all Rush and as you know Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot. Uh, what are the morals and values that make this country strong again?

What is the Problem with Michael Jackson Man?

Does anyone remember that line and which movie it is from? Here is a hint… ” We three kings be stealing the gold.” Well, the problem today is not the same problem it was when this movie came out. But all kidding aside I will remember MJ since he was very important in society when I was in the 8th grade. The Thriller album had just come out and was always played around school. I of course preferred listening to Joan Jet and the Black Hearts around that time but the older I get the more I appreciate the music that good old freak boy MJ brought to the world. Who could forget such hits as “Eat it” or “Fat”. OK, well that was Weird Al but he started his career from MJ’s stuff. So he will be missed and the fighting will ensue to see who ends up getting his stuff… Because that is what life is all about right? Stuff

What up with Iran?

So, who thinks that what is happening in Iran right now is a good thing? I hate to see people get hurt but I think personally it is long past due for that country to have a revolution. I watched a show on Discovery the other day and it really opened my eyes to how from their eyes the USA has screwed them over these past 40 years.
They took hostages and we did some payoffs here and there (Gave them back over 6 billion in funds we had seized once they took the hostages) to get them back then when we did get them back we made them other promises that we did not fulfill.
Iran went above and beyond to get US hostages back from Lebanon. We had no open diplomacy with Iran or Lebanon at the time but they approached us through a Swiss ambassador. Iran was able to get us back our hostages and before they did we told them that if they could we would make it worth their while. We did not give any exact specifications but we did give them our word. So, they got back our hostages for us and then we did not do anything for them in return. Now before you say we do not deal with terrorists we did and then did not follow through. This I am sure is yet another reason they have disdain for us.
I am of course on our side but I understand. Kind like What Chris Rock said about OJ. I don’t agree with it but I understand.

Cash for Clunkers?

So Obama came out with this Cash for Clunkers (Car Allowance Rebate System) update your car package. What it boils down to is that you can get cash for your old car when you trade it in to get a newer car that gets better gas mileage. What a great idea huh?
The problem that I have found is that they destroy the old cars that you trade in. Now yes I agree this will keep them off of the road and prevent them from being used again but what a waste of already spent energy. Well, as long as they are at least recycling some of the stuff I guess it’s not too bad of a plan.

Working Online Again

Well, I have been busy trying to get my ducks in order but am now on track to begin working online again. I had problems with assholes that bought my last business and do not know the difference between gross sales and net sales. So a lawyer is in the works to sue their ass and get the funds which are owed to me. I have talked to three and all feel I have a case and two will take it probono because they have confidence in the case.
Now that I have that in the works I am ready to start building and creating a new online venture. Dice are doing well and I want to show others how to make money online outside of their local markets. The plan is to create a business growing business. So I have teamed up with a good crew and have started www.yourwebedge.com.
With this venture we will sell standard web sites and we will bring a new way of growing companies to the table. Nobody in this economy has an extra $2k-$3k to dump into a website. So, we will offer to sell them or review the business and determine if we feel we can make money online from their products. If we find that we can, then we will build the web site for FREE and take care of everything from credit card processing to marketing and maintenance. The customer will only be responsible for shipping their products. In return we will keep a percentage of any sales that are brought in from the web site. If down the road the client wants to buy us out then they need only pay the initial quoted fee for building them the web site. What do you think?
I think it will work because in the end there is no money out of pocket and we all gain from new clients.
Either way it is good to be back to the grind and not worry about assholes anymore. Or maybe I should say dickheads
